Mediocalypse Now: Idaho Teacher Prints Ads on Students Test Forms

Appalled or applaud? I’m torn on this one even though producing ads has become a substantial source of my income. But running ads on student test forms? Even the Pocatello, Idaho school board, whose rules forbid advertising on classroom materials, admit it’s pretty creative. I’m not sure how I feel about it. True, it is an economics class and therefore a good lesson in how capitalism works. And the teacher who came up with the idea did so as a way to raise money after voters rejected a school referendum.

Either way, you’ve got to give him an A for effort. Or more appropriately: Advertising.
