Pardon the pun but this article gives a terrific explanation of how videos combined with social media interactivity spearhead Benchmade Knife Company‘s marketing and advertising. Not only is it informative, it’s effective, inexpensive, easy to maintain, and entertaining all at the same time.
It’s similar to my work for Delcam, the world’s largest maker of machine tool software, based in the UK. Their video site mostly consists of customer testimonials and demonstrations like Benchmade. But if you look at the number of hits on Delcam TV, they’re ten times what Benchmade gets. This video I shot in Las Vegas last month has been up only a week and it already has nearly 10,000 hits!
